| Blackberry Meadow Lodge Great Room |
Blackberry Meadow Lodge was recently renovated by an imaginative
architect and the interior is completely paneled with rough pine from a nearby lumber mill.
The spaces flow nicely and the Lodge seems roomy even though it is quite compact.

It has a spacious sleeping loft with queen bed and shower, two
bedrooms on the main level – one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds, and there is a double bed on the ground
floor.

The kitchen is fully furnished with microwave, gas stove and oven, toaster oven, dishwasher
and new refrigerator. In the utility room there is washer and dryer. The living room has a great wood stove
The lodge is surrounded
with wide decks on both levels. The lower decks are covered so you can sit outside even when it is damp. A new screened
porch off the kitchen has a view to the west and a big picnic table that seats nine or ten.
There is also a new
hot tub overlooking the meadow on the lower deck. Great for relaxing in the evening after a day of hiking, biking, shopping,
or just sitting around.

All of the guest rooms have large windows that you can open to catch the mountain breezes or the calls of the
whippoorwills in the spring.

With
over 1000 square feet of deck space including lots of covered deck and a generous screened porch, this cabin has enough
intimate spaces for even a large group to have plenty of privacy.
The
outdoor hot tub on the lower deck overlooks Blackberry Meadow and Dooley Creek.
