| Brasstown Valley Loop: Light traffic, clean air, beautiful scenery |
If you’ve been bicycling through city streets, stopping for traffic lights and then cringing when cars
speed past, Blackberry Meadow Lodge bike routes might be the best thing since indexed shifters; maybe since sliced bread.

The
Brasstown Valley loop is one of our favorites. The roads
are mostly smooth, and most have very light traffic. And the scenery is fantastic. Ride through rolling hills with Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. Ride
through green pastures, past grazing horses and cows, rushing rivers and trout streams, and quiet ponds set among the forests
and small towns of the southern edge of the Appalachian Mountains.
